Wedding Car Hire – Terms & Conditions

 

These Terms & Conditions form a legally binding agreement between Flying Lady Cars (“the Company”) and the client (“the Hirer”).

 

1. Booking & Payment

    1.    A booking is only confirmed once the booking form has been completed and the required booking fee has been paid.

    2.    The booking fee is non-refundable and secures the date and vehicle.

    3.    The remaining balance must be paid no later than one month before the event date.

    4.    Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of any monies paid.

 

2. Use of the Vehicle

    1.    The vehicle must only be used for the purpose stated in the booking.

    2.    No food, drink (including alcohol), smoking, vaping, or illegal substances are permitted in the vehicle.

    3.    The Hirer is responsible for any damage, soiling, or loss caused by passengers.

    4.    The Company reserves the right to refuse travel to anyone behaving in an unsafe, abusive, or intoxicated manner.

 

3. Cancellations by the Hirer

    1.    If the Hirer cancels the booking:

    •    More than 60 days before the event –  50% of the total hire cost is payable.

    •    Less than 30 days before – 100% of the total hire cost is payable.

    2.    All cancellations must be made in writing.

 

4. Cancellation by the Company

    1.    In the unlikely event that the vehicle becomes unavailable due to mechanical failure, accident, or circumstances beyond our control, the Company will:

    •    Provide a suitable replacement where possible, or

    •    Offer a full refund of all monies paid.

    2.    The Company will not be liable for any additional costs or losses.

 

5. Delays & Timings

    1.    The Company is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, or circumstances beyond our control.

    2.    It is the Hirer’s responsibility to allow sufficient time for travel.

    3.    No refunds will be given for delays outside the Company’s control.

 

6. Breakdown & Emergency

    1.    All vehicles are maintained to a high standard.

    2.    In the event of a breakdown, the Company will make every effort to provide a replacement or refund.

    3.    Liability is limited to the amount paid for the hire.

 

7. Damage & Cleaning

    1.    Any excessive cleaning required will be charged to the Hirer.

    2.    The Hirer accepts responsibility for any damage caused during the hire period.

 

8. Photographs & Marketing

    1.    The Company may take photographs of the vehicle at events for marketing purposes.

    2.    If you do not wish your event to be used in this way, please inform us in writing before the event.

 

9. Force Majeure

 

The Company shall not be held liable for failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.

 

10. Acceptance

 

By paying the booking fee, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions
